The Harrison Fire Department was paged out Thursday before noon to reports of a person being hit by a car on Cottonwood Road, near Bunker Road. City street department worker Ricky Morlen was performing "Flagger" duties — directing traffic for other city workers along the roadway, when he was struck by a vehicle. Reportedly, Moren's foot was run over in the incident.
