An emergency noise ordinance specifically for data centers will go before the Boone County Quorum Court in July. The Quorum Court convened on Tuesday, June 13, and held a first reading of a proposed emergency ordinance regulating external noise reduction of data centers and to prevent noise disturbance in Boone County; sponsored by Justice of the Peace Fred Woehl.
