MT. JUDEA — The Deer/Mt. Judea School District Board of Education took the first steps Thursday night, Jan. 17, to create a district-wide security department naming Superintendent Bill Mazaur the department manager. The next step is considering whether or not to partner with Emergency Response Training LLC to provide commissioned school security officers (CSSO) training to school staff members who will provide armed security at both the Deer and Mt. Judea schools' campuses.
