Service: 10 a.m. Monday, July 30, at First Baptist Church in Valley Springs, with graveside service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Hutchinson Mountain Cemetery in Floral; Visitation: 3-5 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

George Brumley, age 91, was born June 20, 1927, in Batesville. He was called to heaven Tuesday, July 24 (2018) to join his father, Gus Brumley, four brothers and several other friends and family members who have preceded him. Those who loved him here on earth are comforted by knowing they are rejoicing together in heaven.

George served in the Army during World War II. His final vocation was locksmithing, which he loved dearly.

George is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly; his son, George Jr. (Tae) Brumley; four daughters, Betty Jo Terpenning, Belinda Thompson, Theresa (Tom) McCuistion and Karen (Calvin) Hutton; nine grandchildren, Jeanine (James) Tyndall, Tom Jr. and Tyler McCuistion, Sam (Michelle) Brumley, Janet (J.C.) Enriquez, Heather (Josh) Burton, Allison and Matthew Hutton and Tracey Terpenning; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 30, at Valley Springs First Baptist Church.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31,at Hutchinson Mountain Cemetery in Floral.
