The Harrison Middle School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America members attended the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado in July. Members competed against schools across the nation in Sustainability Challenge and Nutrition and Wellness. Bathke and Younger received a silver medal and also placed top ten in the Sustainability Challenge. Rodden and Johnson received a silver medal in Nutrition and Wellness. The trip would not have been possible without sponsors. Ozark Auto Body, Arvest Bank, Clark Office Products, Jake Gray from State Farm, Dunkin Auto Body, Block's, Kiwanis, Rhonda Laborde, Lacey Laborde, Cavenders, Neighbors Mill, Magness Toyota, Rotary International, Bank 1889, DSI, Bartlett Family Dentistry, Boone Masonic Lodge, Derek Bell from State Farm, Ozark Insurance Group and Campbell Insurance Agency all helped the team travel to Colorado for the National Leadership Conference.
