The Jasper Farmers Market is getting ready for a new season and officials received permission from the Newton County Quorum Court at its meeting, Monday, Feb. 5, to use the courthouse lawn again this year as its vendor venue. The court members said they were all in support of the market and its use of the lawn. That privilege cannot be exclusive, however.
