The UAMS Mobile MammoVan will provide on-site screening mammograms at the Newton County Health Department in Jasper. This service is provided by the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. If you do not have insurance, there are assistance programs available. Please call to inquire on how the program can help cover the cost. Women over 40 that are due for a mammogram may qualify.
The Mammo Van will be at the Newton County Health Department at 8 a.m. May 17 and 18. The Health Department is located at 506 West Court Street in Jasper. To make an apppointment, call UAMS Mammography at 1-800-259-8794. Mammograms will be performed by appointment only
