Being a parent is a huge — probably the biggest responsibility a person can have. It’s like being a doctor, a teacher, a counselor, a chef…I could go on, all rolled into one big life-long responsibility. It seems that it should feel more overwhelming but somehow — through our culture, genetic wiring or some kind of divine grace, most of us manage to get it right and raise children we are proud to brag about to anyone willing to listen.
