Greetings from Capps. The last week has been a blur between the passing of good friend, Jay Newsome, who was the husband of Jeanine, long-time pastor of Restoration Life Fellowship in Batavia, and the going out of business sale at Diversified Lawn and Garden on Capps Road where I work. Thanks to everyone for the well wishes and prayer but I don't think I'll have any trouble staying busy come July when my employment ends. Capps Full Gospel Church will be holding a vacation bible school Monday- Wednesday, June 26-28 from 6-7:30 each evening for children ages 4-11. The Homesteaders Swap Meet will NOT be held next Saturday, July 1. It will resume on July 15 at the usual location. If anyone needs a few small round hay bales, I still have a handful for $5 each. With the summer heat coming on, remember to stay hydrated and check on at risk or elderly neighbors who might not handle it well. Blessings, Doug
