Greetings from Capps. By the time of this article going to print, we've likely survived last Wednesday night's severe weather and received several inches of rain in Capps. The cooler weather has been a refreshing change after June and July's hot weather. Our new goat kid continues to do well at a week old and has bonded with Kal-El, our Akbash cross livestock guardian dog. (Not sure who loves who more) Our cows are returning from being bred in Huntsville also so busy week at the farm. Capps Batavia Fire Captain, Tim Hunter, was recently honored with the Jack Williams Award for first responders, presented by the American Legion. He goes above and beyond for the department and community. (And also raises some fine cattle) Kudos Tim! Capps Full Gospel Church will host Dean and Peggy Caldwell in Revival services this Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. There's something very special going on in Capps but you just have to come and experience it for yourself. Blessings, Doug
