Greetings from Capps. Stuart Nance, the realtor who has the 190 acres listed on Creel Road, dropped by last Thursday. It adjoins our property to the south for about 200 yards. If I had an extra 1.2 million laying around, I would like to have it for a hunting property, but alas. Capps Batavia Fire responded to one brush fire and one vehicle fire last week, different days but same address. We sometimes get more calls in the winter with dry grasses and leaves so please use caution when burning. The demolition work at Capps Full Gospel seems like it stalled last week, I'm anxious to see what the new building will look like. Jim Mysinger got back home from the hospital after a heart procedure. Glad he's feeling better, his wife Evelyn is one of my Cone relatives. It's funny that my stepmother and aunt were both named Evelyn as well. I'm in the home stretch now in EMT training. I finished 2 days on the ambulance and now get to do 2 shifts at the NARMC emergency room, then finals and such. It's been pretty intense. It looks like our nice fall weather is about to take a cold, wintery turn so stay warm and have a Happy Thanksgiving. Blessings, Doug
