Newton County Library offers free vaccine card lamination

Posted

Upon receiving the COVID-19 vaccinations, individuals are given a card that contains the dates and type of vaccination that was given. This card is proof of vaccination and should be kept in a safe place like other important documents. However, proof of vaccination may be required for certain activities or doctor visits. To make matters easier, the Newton County Library will make a free copy of your vaccination card and laminate it for easier carrying. The library will copy your card at the original size or make a smaller, wallet size copy to laminate. The CDC recommends that the original copy not be laminated to avoid damage to the card. For more information, contact the library at 870-446-2983.
