HOT SPRINGS — Nita Cooper of Boone County, vicechair of the Arkansas Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee and ex officio member of Arkansas Farm Bureau State Board, was a participant at the ArFB resolutions committee meeting Nov. 1 - 2. The group met to consider policy positions to be submitted in the business session at the 89th annual Arkansas Farm Bureau Convention, which will take place in Little Rock Nov. 29 - Dec. 1. The committee recommended policy positions on a variety of topics, including livestock and row crop programs, technology usage within agriculture, expansion for commodity market, road safety laws and more.
