Boone County Sheriff Tim Roberson said Friday morning, Oct. 15, that his department was still looking for two persons of interest for questioning regarding the shooting of a 59-year-old man in the Valley Springs area Thursday morning.
Roberson said the incident was reported about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14. The shooting victim was identified as 59-year-old Tim Blackburn and his body was found on the porch of a residence. He was taken to a local hospital and died on Thursday night, Oct. 14.
Roberson said the victim’s vehicle, described as a black 1993 Chevrolet pickup, was taken from the scene. Searcy County authorities reported finding the vehicle on National Park Service property near Grinder’s Ferry later Thursday.

The subjects of interest are believed to have abandoned the pickup and possibly fled on foot. They were identified as 49-year-old Jason Lee Stockstill and 38-year-old Heather Dawn Scallion, Roberson said.
Roberson said the subjects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who comes in contact with them or has any information regarding their whereabouts is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.
