Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Miracle Lighthouse Church, with interment at Gass Cemetery; Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Wanda Widner, age 82, of Berryville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28 (2018) at Mercy Hospital in Berryville. She was born July 28, 1935, in Peel, the daughter of Lemuel Voyd and Ruby (Jones) Hodge.

Wanda was united in marriage to “Gig” Widner Dec. 23, 1953 and they were married for 64 years.

Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her son, Hearl Michael Widner; her sister, Fern Grinder; and a son-in-law, Denny High.

Wanda was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church in Green Forest. She loved taking care of her family dearly and enjoyed baking and gospel music.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband, Hearl “Gig” Widner; her daughters, Kitty High of Oak Grove, and Robin Moore of Green Forest; her sister, Kay Anderson, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, D. J. High, Erin Moore, and Summer Moore; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Funeral service is at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10, at Miracle Lighthouse Church in Harrison, with Reverend Kris Villines and Brother Wayne Writer officiating.

Interment is in Gass Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Stuart Roberts, Steve Roberts, Gannon Roberts, Hastin Writer, David Writer, Jason Writer and Anthony Writer.

Honorary pallbearers are Jerrel Roberts, Loyie Roberts, Leroy Roberts, James Widner, Mark Widner, Terry Widner, Rick Widner, Dianna Wallis and Autumn Hills Nursing Home staff.
