City of Harrison Water Update

The City of Harrison announces the latest update to water outages:

- Service for Harrison water customers north of Harness Road should have returned to normal.

- Service for Harrison water customers south of Harness Road to Cross Road Cemetery Road has not yet been restored.  This includes Harrison customers on Valley View Road, Creekview Road, Alta Vista Court, Carr Court, Doe Run Lane, and Gip Annie Road. 

- Crews are working to restore service as quickly as possible to these areas; however, it is possible that service will remain interrupted until as late as 10  p.m. tonight.  

- The location of the water line break is directly under Highway 7 South near Bowser’s Metal Supply. Crews will have to install new pipe under the highway.  Be advised that the highway has been reduced to one-lane traffic in the area; please drive cautiously and watch for flaggers.

- All Harrison water customers south of Harness Road currently without service will be placed on a Precautionary Boil Water Notice when service is restored. 

- Customers north of Harness are not under a boil water notice.
