The Rock House as well as the variety of supporting buildings and site features contribute to the integrity of the site and give a picture of what was necessary to operate a ranch of that size. North Arkansas Regional Medical Center's Urgent Care unit south of Bellefonte on US 65 was expected to open in December. The opening has been moved to sometime in January, the hospital's CEO Sammie Cribbs told the hospital's board of directors at its monthly meeting Tuesday, Dec. 27. Elizabeth Darden was elected by the Harrison City Council at its regular monthly meeting Tuesday night to fill the vacancy left by Bill Boswell who currently holds the Ward 3, Position 1 seat. Boswell didn’t file for reelection, nor did anyone else file for the slot. By law, Boswell could be appointed to fill another term, but he resigned instead. more
