FAYETTEVILLE — Washington Regional Medical Center has achieved reaccreditation from the Arkansas Department of Health as a Level II Trauma Center within the Arkansas Trauma System. The medical center’s trauma program underwent a rigorous two-day, on-site inspection to earn the designation.

Forty-two Harrison Middle School students toured Northark Technical Center (NTC) on Tuesday, March 11. The 8th graders, members of HMS teacher Maribeth O'Dell's Career Development classes, toured three divisions of the Tech Center including construction, welding, and HVAC. After learning about the Technical Center opportunities, students had lunch (provided by NTC) and then traveled to Northark's south campus to tour the new Robotics Training Center currently under construction.
