On March 26, 2024, during a regular meeting of the Harrison Colony Chapter, NSDAR, four students from area school districts received recognition as DAR Good Citizen nominees. These nominees were selected by their school districts based on the qualities they have demonstrated in dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism and were eligible to enter a scholarship essay contest sponsored by Daughters of the American Revolution at the chapter, state, and national levels.
