A fatal two-vehicle wreck occurred Monday, April 29 on Highway 43 in Harrison. The Harrison Police Department received a call alerting them to the wreck at 12:44 p.m. Both vehicles suffered significant front end damage, resulting in severe injuries.
Harrison Police Sergeant Luis Gonzalez informed the Times that the female driver of a 2012 Dodge Caravan, 30 year-old Leah Bieberich, of Harrison, was evaluated on the scene and succumbed to her injuries.
The male diver of a 2023 Ram Promaster, 50 year-old Christopher Roberts, of Harrison was transported to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. The accident was investigated by the Harrison Police Department, with assistance from Harrison Fire Department and EMS at the scene.
According to the crash report, the Dodge Caravan was traveling west when it crossed the center line and struck the Dodge Promaster head on. The road conditions were dry and the weather was cloudy.
