On Monday, May 27, at 11 a.m., The Boone County War Memorial Association will meet at the Historic Downtown Harrison Bandstand for their Memorial Day ceremony. Representatives from the Harrison VFW Post 2881, The American Legion Post 44 and the DAV Chapter 6 will present during the wreath ceremony. Honored guest speaker & veteran, Lionel Cantu, will also be present. Special performances by vocalist Shelly Watson, Caven Clark, and the 1st Baptist Church Choir will be given. The War Memorial Association express gratitude for the help of Boy Scout Troop 60, Sandra Hilliard with the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Ozark Arts Council, Tempo Sound, the Boone County Quorum Court, the EMS Color Guard and Camp Jack.
