Average gasoline prices in Arkansas have fallen 5.2 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.04/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 1,826 stations in Arkansas. Prices in Arkansas are 30.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 17.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has fallen 3.4 cents in the last week and stands at $4.43 per gallon. more
For the fifth straight week, the nation’s average price of gasoline has dropped, falling 5.2 cents from a week ago to $3.50 per gallon yesterday according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million individual price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country. The national average is down 33.2 cents from a month ago and 26.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 3.8 cents in the last week and stands at $4.48 per gallon, 82 cents lower than one year ago. more

A Walmart employee called to report a vehicle left in a no parking space adjacent to a handicapped parking spot. An officer said the driver was missing a leg, but all handicapped spaces were occupied at the time. more
A caller via 911 reported hearing a woman screaming on South Oak. Officers responded and could hear the noise, but they said it sounded like a bobcat. They later determined it was a red fox making the noise. more
