The annual Hilltop quilt auction to benefit the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Saturday, November 1, beginning at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner, followed by the auction at 7 p.m. The Ladies Auxiliary have hand quilted several beautiful quilts to offer this year, as well as some machine quilted ones. There are other donated items that will be offered as well. Everyone is invited to come out and support the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department.

The WindowLympics started on Friday, Oct. 31 and will wrap up on Sunday, Nov. 2. According to organizers, the event can be broken down into three days and three categories: celebrate, compete, and connect.
