Greetings from Capps. As of this writing late Wednesday night, we've had over 4 inches of rain over 3 days. Mud season rolls on with more precipitation on it's way. Of course, in June and July, we'll be longing for even a short shower in the hot, dry summer. We seem to be in a similar pattern to the last few years. Tuesday morning we attended the graveside service for our friend, Russell Faddis at the Plumlee Cemetery in Compton. It was well attended by family and friends. His Pastor, Eddie Reed, of Capps Full Gospel, did the service. He had lived on Creel Road for 55 years before moving into Harrison 5 years ago. His good friends and neighbors Carl Tanksley and Sharon and Teresa Casey also attended. Stay dry and carry on. Blessings, Doug

The monthly Unity Prayer meeting was held at Restoration Life Fellowship last Tuesday evening. The service was very good. I have had some issues with my foot surgery and will be having a rework done on Thursday of this week. I dread wearing that boot for another extended period of time. I visited briefly with Lee Hankins and Rosie Estes one evening this week. Rosie happened to be at Lee’s house when I went there to deliver some vitamins to Lee.
