It is a wet Taco Tuesday, the rain is really coming down at 4:30 p.m. I got flowers in last Saturday. I hate to see them come in. I like Spring to put flower out. I don’t like winter. We had our trunk or treat inside Sat. at Oak Grove School House and it turned out ok. We had 10 different ones pass out candy to over 100 trick or treaters. more
The annual Hilltop quilt auction to benefit the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department will be held on Saturday, November 1, beginning at 5 p.m. with a potluck dinner, followed by the auction at 7 p.m. The Ladies Auxiliary have hand quilted several beautiful quilts to offer this year, as well as some machine quilted ones. There are other donated items that will be offered as well. Everyone is invited to come out and support the Hilltop Volunteer Fire Department. more

The statewide gas price average in Arkansas was $2.62 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel on Thursday, according to the AAA Arkansas Weekend Gas Watch. That price is five cents less compared to that day last week and is 17 cents less per gallon compared to that day last year. more

Suppose to be another wash out weekend with more rain moving in but I talked to Lajunta Plumlee who said we will still have the Trunk or Treat. We will move it inside the Oak Grove School House on Oct. 25 from 4-6 p.m. So come on out. more
